Tab mirroring content is not rendering properly on receiver. Content flashing.

Project Member Reported by dbbrooks@chromium.org, Jun 11 2018

Issue description

Chrome Version: 69.0.3451.0
OS: Mac
Receiver: 1.33.123323

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Cast a tab to Chromecast. I used a Vimeo.com video. (Actually it didn't repro for me on abc.com video content.)
(2) Move the mouse around a bit to show video controls. (See video)

What happens? See video. Content is flashing.

Note that the video just shows UI on top of the video flashing. I didn't get a video of it, but I also saw the entire content underneath the Vimeo header bar flashing and jumping vertically in and out of it's correct position in large horizontal sections.

Try resizing the window while tab mirroring as well. Then the entire page starts flashing and might not even resize properly on the receiver.

Ah, so this only repros with MacViews enabled.

This is a release blocker for MacViews. What bug # should I mark as blocking?

Every Pri-1 MacViews bug is a release blocker implicitly.
Will take a look ASAP -- in the mean time, does this reproduce using the self-mirroring extension attached (load it using Load Unpacked Extensions ... it may not load on corp)? (it'll just help a lot if it does...).

This is odd, I'm using the same mac, same Chrome 69.0.3451.0, same MR component, and same MacViews flags enabled, but I'm not able to repro it anymore. Any advic to move forward here? Maybe mark this one as no repro?

Closing as Fixed (would be nice to have a FixUnknown option).
Status: WontFix (was: Fixed)
Perhaps WontFix? It's for stuff that cannot be reproduced.

It's resurfaced again. But I don't know how to trigger a repro.

Has this been able to reproduce using the self-mirroring extension?
Been attempting to reproduce this and have not succeeded. Unfortunately I can't make progress on this unless there is a way to reproduce it.

No repro -> can't fix.
