Google Sign In - Something went wrong

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3396.79 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. sign in at http://accounts.google.com
2. 
3. 

What is the expected behavior?
normal sign in

What went wrong?
got error: "Something went wrong
Sorry, something went wrong there. Try again."

Did this work before? N/A 

Chrome version: 67.0.3396.79  Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: 

Bug persists for:
Chromium Version 67.0.3396.79 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Chromium Version 68.0.3424.0 (Official Build) (64-bit)

No bug for:
Chrome Version 67.0.3396.62 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Chromium Version 69.0.3451.0 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I found the problem.
Using the "no sync" builds from https://chromium.woolyss.com/

Exaplanation:
No sync:
• Google API key is undefined in this build. 
• So Google services like Sync, Hotword, Translate, Now, Hangout do not work. 
• You will not be able to log in with your Google account and synchronize your data.
