Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Select / highlight text.
2. Press cmd-c to copy
3. Press cmd-v to paste

What is the expected behavior?
copy / paste should work as intended.

What went wrong?
cmd-c does not copy the highlighted content.
thus, cmd-v does not paste the highlighted content.

at times, cmd-c also brings up developer tools.

right click copy and paste works as intended implying the bug is in shortcut key combo.
