Chromium freezes on messenger.com

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3396.79 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1.Open chromium
2. Visit messenger.com 
3. Revisit messenger.com
4. Tab freeze

What is the expected behavior?
To load the website.

What went wrong?
The website doesnt load

Crashed report ID: 

How much crashed? Just one tab

Is it a problem with a plugin? No 

Did this work before? N/A 

Chrome version: 67.0.3396.79  Channel: stable
OS Version: 4.16.13-2

Unable to reproduce the issue on linux debian rodate & windows 10 using chrome reported version-67.0.3396.79 & latest stable-67.0.3396.87 as per above steps.

No freeze observed on chrome & chromium while accessing messenger.com even after revisit.

Could you please check the issue on latest stable with clean profile(without any apps and extensions) & let us know your observations on the same.If chrome crashes let us know crash id from chrome://crashes.
