No audio on manual tests on chromium.webrtc/Win7 Tester?

Project Member Reported by chfremer@chromium.org, Jun 8 2018

Issue description

buildbot/chromium.webrtc/Win7 Tester started failing 4 manual tests related to audio:

First failed build:
https://ci.chromium.org/buildbot/chromium.webrtc/Win7%20Tester/43391

4 tests failed:
    WebRtcAudioQualityBrowserTest.MANUAL_TestAutoGainControlOnLowAudio (../../chrome/browser/media/webrtc/webrtc_audio_quality_browsertest.cc:836)
../../chrome/browser/media/webrtc/webrtc_audio_quality_browsertest.cc(351): error: Expected equality of these values:
  ref_segments.size()
    Which is: 6
  actual_segments.size()
    Which is: 1
The recording did not result in the same number of audio segments after on splitting on silence; WebRTC must have deformed the audio too much.

    WebRtcAudioQualityBrowserTest.MANUAL_TestAutoGainIsOffWithAudioProcessingOff (../../chrome/browser/media/webrtc/webrtc_audio_quality_browsertest.cc:847)
../../chrome/browser/media/webrtc/webrtc_audio_quality_browsertest.cc(351): error: Expected equality of these values:
  ref_segments.size()
    Which is: 6
  actual_segments.size()
    Which is: 1
The recording did not result in the same number of audio segments after on splitting on silence; WebRTC must have deformed the audio too much.

    WebRtcAudioQualityBrowserTest.MANUAL_TestCallQualityWithAudioFromFakeDevice (../../chrome/browser/media/webrtc/webrtc_audio_quality_browsertest.cc:712)
../../chrome/browser/media/webrtc/webrtc_audio_quality_browsertest.cc(404): error: Value of: succeeded
  Actual: false
Expected: true
Failed to run PESQ.

    WebRtcAudioQualityBrowserTest.MANUAL_TestCallQualityWithAudioFromWebAudio (../../chrome/browser/media/webrtc/webrtc_audio_quality_browsertest.cc:718)
[3436:5788:0607/215340.440:ERROR:webrtc_audio_quality_browsertest.cc(470)] PESQ was not able to compute a score; we probably recorded only silence.
../../chrome/browser/media/webrtc/webrtc_audio_quality_browsertest.cc(404): error: Value of: succeeded
  Actual: false
Expected: true
Failed to run PESQ.

The failure seems to remain consistent, but the blame list on the first failing build does not appear to contain any related CL.

Yeah, we looked at it last Friday. One first guess was that it happened because Olga rolled out a new field trial config, which means the test is now running with the new audio process.

I think Olga's team need to look closer at this and verify audio isn't broken on Win. For now, we can disable the test.
