Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/66.0.3359.181 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. pin some tabs 2. close chrome from task manager or when chrome gets crashed 3. now on opening the chrome again, and clicking on 'open startup page', only homepage gets open. What is the expected behavior? According to me, pinned tabs should also be opened unless they are explicitly unpinned by the user. What went wrong? After opening chrome from crashed(or forced closed state), and selecting 'open startup page', pinned tabs didn't open. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 66.0.3359.181 Channel: n/a OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version:

This sounds like a feature request rather than a bug, and it's not related to Sync. I'm pretty sure UI>Browser>TabStrip isn't the correct component either, but hopefully people there can triage further.

As per comment#2 considering this as feature request and marking as Untriaged. Could someone from dev team please have a look at this issue. Thanks!

I'm not sure what "open startup page" refers to here. I have an option after a crash to "restore pages", which reopens pinned tabs. That seems like it's working as expected.

Sir, there are two options when chrome is opened again from crashed state. I have attached photo, you can see on right top

"Open startup pages" means "throw away all my pinned tabs". If you want pinned tabs restored, is there a reason you can't select the "restore" option that restores them? |
