Issue descriptionChrome Version: 69.0.3452.0/10762.0.0 dev channel Peppy,Minnie and Celes OS: Chrome What steps will reproduce the problem? (1)Sign into User -> Go to chrome://settings/changePicture page (2)Now observe focus is on profile picture(Ex:Panda) -> Use Up/Down/Right/left arrow buttons from keyboard and observe Focus doesn't traverse (Please refer Video) Expected: Focus should traverse to other pictures on using arrow keys Actual: Instead Focus doesn't traverse on using arrow keys This is Regression Issue as same is working fine in 68.0.3429.0/0677.0.0 dev-channel Peppy

Able to reproduce the issue on latest M69 69.0.3475.0/10827.0.0, attaching video for reference Hence reopening the issue Thanks..!!

I believe that the problem is that the image selection UI no longer receives focus by default; 'tab' has to be pressed first, then the arrow keys will work. Focus on this page has historically been challenging. I'm going to make this a P2 for 70.

Hrm. There is some strange subtle behavior going on here. As near as I can tell the JS is doing the right thing, but in testing there are a bunch of issues with this UI and keyboard focus. This is clearly not RBS. An extra tab gets focus to the correct place. I'm not sure where/when/how this might have changed since 68, there haven't been any relevant JS or HTML since Dec. 2017. |
