I can not select text inside a foreignobject that included the attribute contenteditable for a content inside it

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_3) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3396.62 Safari/537.36 Example URL: http://api.corjl.com/svgbug.html Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Scroll to the bottom 2. try click any position in the text "FEBRUARY" 3. it will be ok if you click content from a first line What is the expected behavior? It should show a selection when i click any position in the text "FEBRUARY" What went wrong? It dont show a selection when i click the text "FEBRUARY". It just happen with the foreignobject in svg. I put the attribute contenteditable="true" for a div inside the foreignobject. Does it occur on multiple sites: N/A Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A Did this work before? I'm getting the same issue. I can't highlight contenteditable text inside of a foreignobject if it originally appeared offscreen.

This was an issue with hit testing that has been fixed. The fix was merged back into release branches and should be out any day now. If it's not fixed when you next update Chrome, please let us know. |
