Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/68.0.3440.15 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Enable chrome://flags/#omnibox-ui-show-suggestion-favicons 2. Try to search trough custom search engine What is the expected behavior? Omnibox shows favicon for search engine What went wrong? Unable to reproduce the issue on reported version chrome 68.0.3440.15 dev using Ubuntu14.04.Attaching screencast for reference. Steps: ----------- 1.Enabled chrome://flags/#omnibox-ui-show-suggestion-favicons 2.Tried to search through custom search engine We are able to view favions in omni box suggestions. @Reporter: Could you please review the attached screen-cast and confirm if anything being missed here and also please verify this with fresh profile that is not having any extensions and apps. Let us know whether issue still persists.

I mean keyword-tab search trough custom non-default search engine. Dropdown menu shows icon for history entries but not in address bar itself.

There is favicons for history of searches, but not for new search on custom engine.

To get the favicon for your custom search provider, try enabling this flag on Canary: chrome://flags/#upcoming-ui-features Working as Intended. |
