When using Chrome Remote Desktop to a session running Citrix, the cursor is not rendered

Project Member Reported by pnevin@chromium.org, Jun 6 2018

Issue description

Chrome OS Version: 63
Chrome OS Platform: HP 13

Please specify Cr-* of the system to which this bug/feature applies (add
the label below).

Steps To Reproduce:
(1) Start up session of Citrix receiver on Chromebook
(2) Access the Chromebook from another device
(3) WHen you move the cursor over the Citrix window, the cursor disappears. It is still possible to click on items on the screen, but can only guess at the location of the cursor. If the cursor is moved back out of the Citrix window, the cursor reappears.

Expected Result:
Cursor renders wherever it is placed on the screen.

Actual Result:

How frequently does this problem reproduce? Always, on any version of Citrix

What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is
it? No workaround is available

Citrix is probably setting an empty cursor in this situation, although usually when apps do this they either render their own cursor or are designed to work without one (for example, first-person games). What happens to the local mouse cursor if Citrix is running locally?
