Filing a bug via Sheriff-o-matic does not associate SoM with the bug

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) In SoM, find an alert with a button: "File a bug"
(2) Note that the button's tooltip says "File a new bug and link to this alert to mark causes and followup."
(3) Press the button and file the bug.

What is the expected result?
Bug is filed, and SoM updates to show the new bug next to the alert (as indicated by the tooltip).

What happens instead?
Bug is filed, but SoM doesn't seem to refresh its state (my recollection is not perfect here). It seems that the new bug does not have the right label, so you have to press the "Link bug" button, and manually enter the new bug number.

Did a quick test and a bug was linked after filing. Some possible explanations to investigate later off the top of my head: 

- It's possible that this could be the result of alerts refreshing while the bug was filed. 
- Or this might be the result of the frontend not refreshing properly after a bug is filed. 
- Or maybe bug linking is flaky?

Closing this for now since I can't seem to reproduce this issue. Please feel free to open a new bug or comment on this bug again if this keeps happening!
