In the attached trace[1] osd.js[2] and related scripts constantly use about 50% of the CPU (50ms work, 50ms idle) even when the user isn't interacting with the page and no ad is visible. We should:

1) File an internal bug to figure out what's going wrong here.

2) Consider an intervention for this kind of pattern where the page isn't visually changing but is using a lot of power.
