Unable to reproduce the issue reported chrome version on 66.0.3359.181 and latest stable 67.0.3396.62 using Windows 10. Attaching Screencast for reference. Steps -------- 1. Enabled Multi monitor setup and launched Chrome. 2. Changed windows scale settings on multi monitors (main 100%, secondary 125%) 3. Navigated to some sites Observed search results and suggestions are positioned correctly. @Reporter: As we are unable to reproduce this issue from our end, would it be possible for you to attach screencast/URL for better triaging of this issue. Thanks.!

You're using BING suggestions, which is working via Javascript, this type of suggestions working fine for me too. I am talking about native chrome suggestions, when you're using one website often and chrome starts to suggest you your previous inputs. Also: My main monitor is at 100%, secondary at 125%, i think this is important. Do not forget to logoff/login after switching scale as windows applies some parameters only after that. You can try to use input on this page (just googled it): https://www.austlii.edu.au/techlib/webdev/formseg.html for me it looks like this: http://prntscr.com/jrynvu

Able to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 66.0.3359.181 & latest stable 67.0.3396.62 and on latest chrome 69.0.3452.0 using Windows 10 Multi monitor. Note: this issue is specific to Windows. Same behavior is seen on M60(60.0.3112.113) hence considering it as non-regression and marking it as Untriaged.Attaching screencast for reference. Thanks! |
