"normal is not defined happen" in ArcGIS JS API again

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3396.62 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. var docE = document.documentElement;
2. var docX = docE.insertBefore(document.createElement('x-parse'), docE.firstChild)
3. getComputedStyle(docX)['content']

What is the expected behavior?
return "none"

What went wrong?
it returns "normal" for chrome 67

Did this work before? N/A 

Chrome version: 67.0.3396.62  Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.3
