We discussed this; the plan instead is to slightly tweak the tiles so they are properly square and keep that in all orientations.

We dropped it to Pri-2, which means we feel that it's less important than other tasks or polish bugs, and at the moment we shouldn't put any resources (UX or eng) towards it. If you or Pete strongly disagree, we can discuss it, but for the moment there's nothing for anyone to do here.
