This is happening since Chrome 35. We had to stay with Chrome version 35, as our users couldn't print documents fine (Firefox and Explorer working ok). We're migrating to Windows 10 and staying with this version is not possible any more.

Printing is working fine with other printer models like Canon LBP7780C. Also working in Linux using same printers. Example:

'HP LaserJet Flow MFP M527' prints fine in Linux using 'HP Color LaserJet Flow MFP M680 Postscript' driver

What drivers are you using on Windows? Is the "HP 2055" referring to a HP LaserJet P2055? Do you know if the drivers are PCL or PS?

In the future, please consider reporting bugs earlier.

This test was printed using HP LaserJet Flow MFP M527 PCL 6 with different DPI's: 300, 600 and 1200. 600 and 1200 didn't make difference. 300 DPI looks bigger

As we are unable to reproduce the issue from our end using HP Laser Jet 4345 mfp printer hence adding label "TE-NeedsTriageHelp" and requesting someone from Dev team to have a look into this and help in further triaging it.

Thanks!
Ok. Finally we've found the problem, and is not Chrome related, so you can close this bug.

The problem was a dysfunctional behaviour of a software called PretonSaver, installed in our company. This is a ink optimisation software for printers, deactivating it solved the problem. As the problem was only facing when printing from Chrome (Edge, explorer, acrobat reader printed ok), we thought it was a Chrome related bug.

And what was worse, Chrome itself complains about this software, and nobody here noticed it.

Sorry for the inconveniences.
