||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 10452.96.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/66.0.3359.181 Safari/537.36 Platform: 10452.96.0 (Official Build) stable-channel eve Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open Drive or Docs or Sheets (app). 2. Click on the app icon in the shelf (Chrome OS) 3. No menu appears with open documents What is the expected behavior? A context menu should appear above the app icon in the shelf, listing all of the open documents (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc) What went wrong? Context menu with list of open documents (Chrome tabs) should appear. No longer appears. Looks like a regression in functionality. Did this work before? Yes Chrome version: 66.0.3359.181 Channel: stable OS Version: 10452.96.0 Flash Version: 29.0.0.171 Is this regression in functionality expected?

Could you elaborate? You are looking at the web app right? If the web app opens in the browser, it's WAI. If it opens in the window, we are able to see the various window open.

Yes, this applies to the web app. When the web app opens in a browser tab rather than in a separate window, the behaviour *used* to be that when you clicked on the app icon in the shelf, you would see a menu with all open instances of that app - even if they are in a browser tab, not just a separate windows. Example: open Google Docs. Open 5 documents. Each is in a separate chrome browser tab. When you click on the Google Docs app icon in the shelf, you would see a menu with 5 entries - one for each open doc. This behaviour no longer applies with recent chrome releases. Now you only see instances of apps which have been opened in a new window.
