YouTube Video Effects extension is broken in Chrome Canary 69

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/69.0.3448.0 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Install extension
2. Open YouTube video
3. Launch extension popup

What is the expected behavior?
The popup will launch and you can see functionalities there.

What went wrong?
Only black space!

Did this work before? Yes Stable Chrome 67, Chrome Canary 68.
