No way to easily share URL to Android apps (Chrome OS/ARC++)

Reported by reva...@gmail.com, Jun 1 2018

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 10575.47.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3396.57 Safari/537.36
Platform: 10575.47.0 (Official Build) beta-channel terra

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open any website
2. There is no "Share" button with a list of Android apps that can receive URLs (like Pocket client for example)

What is the expected behavior?
There should be a way to easily share URL to Android apps like can already be done with files in Files app.

What went wrong?
There is no way to easily share opened URL to Android apps (besides just copying it).

Did this work before? No

Chrome version: 67.0.3396.57 Channel: beta
OS Version: 10575.47.0

revanmj@ could you elaborate more on what the Expected Behavior is for this issue? If you're looking to replicate certain app sharing behavior that you see on other Android devices would you be willing to share a walk-through of that workflow so we can get a better understanding of the issue?

Based on discussions with Chrome PMs it looks like this may not be a feature currently available but like I said if we can get a better visualization of what the issue is that will help us continue to move forward.

Thanks!

Sure, here is quick visualization what I meant (Android apps that can receive URLs are on the list marked by red ellipsis)

Thanks for the clarification. We're working on improving sharing on Chrome OS in general and will take this into consideration. +CC a few people working in this space for FYI and possible bug duping
