Issue descriptionDevice name: From "Settings > About Chrome" Version 66.0.3359.181 (Official Build) (64-bit) Application version: Operating system: Platform 10452.96.0 (Official Build) stable-channel auron_yuna Firmware Google_Auron_yuna.6301.59.116 Channel Currently on stable ARC Version 4780877 Blink 537.36 (@) V8 6.6.346.32 User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 10452.96.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/66.0.3359.181 Safari/537.36 URLs (if applicable): Steps to reproduce: (1)press upload photo button on site; window appears with file hierarchy including "my drive" which is the target; window stays for one second and goes blank, clears itself; window border is intact; no further action possible. (2)right click on photo on site; window appears with file hierarchy including "my drive" which is the target; window stays for one second and goes blank, clears itself; window border is intact; no further action possible. (3)the site i am on has nothing to do with the error; which is ubiquitous. Expected result: Actual result:

Looks similar to VPN related bug that we saw a few weeks ago. Are you running a VPN extension or behind a VPN in general?

Yes, I am. NordVPN. But the problem is there whether the VPN is on or off. BTW the problem appears to have disappeared on its own.

Yes it seems you hit an issue related to VPN's playing around with some https URLs that we fixed a little while back. Depending on what your VPN is doing the bug can be intermittent, but we have fix in place. Thanks for your feedback - closing bug. |
