Issue descriptionChrome Version: 67.0.3396.67/10575.51.0 beta-channel Daisy,Candy,Reks OS:Chrome OS What steps will reproduce the problem? (1)Sign-in to user>. Enable On screen keyboard>> Click on overview mode and type something>> Observe search bar and Enter. Nothing happens Actual: Nothing happens while typing and entering in Overview mode and Search bar seems to be unnecessarily present. Expected: No search bar should be seen or else it should navigate when we hit Enter This is a Non-Regression issue seen from M62 @sammiequon: Please confirm the issue NOTE: Even with normal keyboard, issue is seen

C#1--> If no text matches, atleast there should be some error message like 'Title not found' or 'no search results'. Hence, Re-opening the bug for confirmation Thanks!

There was no error message in the specs, so this is WAI, but perhaps your suggestion could be a new feature, +sgabriel for thoughts. This textbox is rarely used though, and the dimmed out window items already provide a indication for no matches.

This feature is due for a redesign as it wasn't made to be used with touch. I'll put this on my todo. Please keep as it is for now. |
