pdr@, is this https://crbug.com/835755 ? I definitely recall seeing this issue before.

I didn't do a bisect to confirm, but I'm pretty sure this is https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=835755. This appears to work now, at least on my machine. Aljoscha, thanks for taking the time to file this. Can you check this in the latest version of chrome and see if it has been fixed? If not, please comment so we can reopen this bug.

Thanks, I can confirm this does reproduce on some hardware (you can force it to reproduce with --disable-prefer-compositing-to-lcd-text).

Interesting. This is a regression from SPv175: https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+log/ea38ede3b18e99aff19e5e17c664850b1958a09f..209644b1c73164f277f6a94e0a37d22ac1daeda2 This seems to be due to a combination of nested position: fixed as well as fixed background positioning. Attaching a minimized repro. Aljoscha, this is a chrome bug but as a temporary workaround you can remove one of the "position: fixed" styles from either #swf-bg or #background. |
