Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/66.0.3359.181 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open chrome 2. Wait for an update to become available, then upgrade without closing chrome first. 3. Keep using chrome What is the expected behavior? That chrome would notice the new version and ask to be restarted What went wrong? For some reason, every time I upgrade chrome in place, something causes the whole thing to crash and I lose my profile. Did this work before? Yes unknown Chrome version: 66.0.3359.181 Channel: stable OS Version: 4.16.7 Flash Version: Chrome was updated by the system administrator while I had it open and was busy using it.
