Touchable tab strip breaks easy closing of tabs |
||||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionChrome Version: 67.0.3396.57 OS: Chrome OS What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Enable the new touchable tab strip. (2) Open a bunch of tabs so that the tabs start stacking and resize (3) pick a random tab and click the X (4) repeat clicking rapidly without moving the mouse What is the expected result? In the prior UI, tabs to the right would shift so that the X button moved into the same location as on the just-closed tab. Resizing was only done after a brief delay of no tab closures. This allowed a bunch of tabs to be closed quickly without repositioning the mouse What happens instead? For the first few clicks it's fine, but at some point a resize will occur and the pattern will break.

I think what this is reporting is that the tabstrip is in stacked mode during mouse interaction, which was addressed in bug 844193 .

Not EXACTLY a duplicate. It would be possible to solve this within stacked mode, but bug 844193 also solves the issue. |
