css column onclick event only works in first column when appending

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_4) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/66.0.3359.181 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. create a div with more than 1 column 2. dynamically append (using createElement and appendChild) a div with a button/div/a/etc. in it and attach and on click event 3. click the button in the first column 4. click the button in the other columns What is the expected behavior? all the buttons in all the columns have their onclick event triggered What went wrong? none of the events get triggered apart from the ones attached to the buttons in the first column Did this work before? See if it's fixed in Chrome 67 (force an update by running the web installer again if needed), in which case it might be a duplicate of bug 839008 .
