Suggestion to make password visible when clicking on the key icon

Reported by orsch...@gmail.com, May 30 2018

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3396.62 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Go to a page for which you have a saved password
2. You should see a key icon in the URL bar
3. Click on the key icon

What is the expected behavior?
I expect having an option there to directly view my password.

What went wrong?
Instead, I can only see black circles obfuscating my password.

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 67.0.3396.62 Channel: stable
OS Version: Fedora 28
Flash Version:

Do you think we can improve the design here and make it easier to directly access the password of a given page?

Thank you! :-)
