Chrome Version : 66.0.3359.181

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Trying to see videos on my Google Drive

What is the expected result?
Well, to see the video starting...
What happens instead?
"Oops, there was a mistake in playing back the video" (the Finnish version of it)

Thanks for filing the issue! Unable to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 66.0.3359.181 using Ubuntu 14.04 and Mac 10.13.1 with the below mentioned steps. 1. Launched Chrome 2. Logged into Google account -> Opened drive 3. Tried playing a video. We were able to play the video with out any errors. Tentatively adding component "Platform>Apps>FileManager>Drive" please change if this isn't apt. @Reporter: Could you please check the same in a new profile without any apps & extensions and let us know if the issue still persists. It would be highly helpful if mentioned the OS version in which the issue is seen.

I'd guess the video codec of that particular file is not supported by Chrome. Do you by chance use Chromium instead of Chrome?

We'll need to see the file in question or at least the chrome://media-internals report for it in order to diagnose.
