Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/66.0.3359.181 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Download uMatrix extension 2. Import the 'my-umatrix-backup.txt' from here https://github.com/CHEF-KOCH/NoScript-Whitelist/tree/master/uMatrix%E2%82%80 3. Reload and wait till the list gets parsed by uMatrix, try to access the option pane 'My rules' in uMatrix. What is the expected behavior? Chromium should display the list without any problems. What went wrong? The Browser freezes and hangs, no website loads and the cpu usage goes up until the Browser Extension crashes. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 66.0.3359.181 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: The filter list works just fine in Firefox and normal Chrome versions with installed uMatrix extension. It seems to affect only chromium based Browsers. Here more details: https://github.com/CHEF-KOCH/NoScript-Whitelist/issues/4

Hello, sorry for the bad issue title, I hope someone can fix it. Something went wrong on my end. Steps to import the list into the uMatrix extension: ==================================================== * Go to the repository and click on the "my-umatrix-backup.txt" file. * The list will open within your browser, but you need to download it as .txt file, so press 'Raw' which opens the list as .txt file in your Browser. * Copy & paste the the content from your Browser into a .txt file (the name should't matter). it's important that it's a .txt file otherwise uMatrix can't read it. * Now, go into your Browser and click the little gear on the very left when you click on the uMatrix icon in your Browser which opens the integrated settings menu. Within this settings menu there several tabs on the top, click the 'About' tab and press 'Restore from file...' this allows you to import the list. And the process here: https://i.imgur.com/wFFWWPw.gif The developer of uMatrix seems to be aware of the issue but he said it's a Chromium bug, I also can say that this works in normal Chrome Browser while other forks like Chromium or Chromium based Browser forcing the extension to crash. You see the memory goes up and then after some while it crashes.
