Wifi disabled when coming out of standby and will not re-enable

Project Member Reported by tomhanson@google.com, May 28 2018

Issue description

Chrome Version : 66.0.3359.181
OS Version: 10452.96.0

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Put laptop in sleep mode
2. Take laptop out of sleep and log in
3. Try to access the internet

What is the expected result?

WiFi has connected and works

What happens instead of that?

WiFi adapter is disabled and attempts to re-enable it do not work (switches back to disabled after a few seconds). This is an issue with myself and a colleagues pixelbook.

I took a feedback report on the chromebook with my corp account.
