Issue descriptionMy Chromebook has had some issues. It performed a "Chrome OS is missing or damaged" warning. This has happened to me before years ago so I was familiar with the recovery process. I went through all the steps to do a complete recovery. The computer seemed to reboot just fine, the login page pulled right up. I then proceeded to set the Chromebook backup. That's when my problem started. I loged in using my Gmail and password, and then it just takes me right back to the same "Sign into your Chromebook page again." Over and over again, never letting me in. I have been able to browse in guest mode, but I have not been able to sign in. I called Samsung, I've done multiple recoveries, and multiple power washes. Again, I can sign in with my account on guest mode, everything seems to be working fine there. I can watch YouTube videos and browse the web from there. However, I cannot long into the computer itself and can only access guest mode Chromebook features. Worked on this for days with multiple folks on the Chromebook Central Help Forum. Lot's of great folks there helped me try and locate the problem. I am including this link to my Forum post with all the suggested help from other forum members: https://productforums.google.com/forum/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=footer#!msg/chromebook-central/ycV9Bx3ztUI/sFMafYUdCgAJ I tried every single process that was suggested to me, however I am still not able to log into my account via this Chromebook. I am able to log into other Chromebooks without problem. If you have any additional questions please feel free to email me. I have attached the information from the bottom of my Samsung Chromebook. Thanks! |
