Unwanted grey highlight is seen for home button url.

Chrome Version: 69.0.3442.0 (Official Build) Revision 562d9e7e30299e5cf807d4e5f31f271f64b8cd50-refs/branch-heads/3442@{#1} (32/64 Bit)

OS: Windows (7,8,8.1,10), Mac (10.12.6, 10.13.1, 10.13.5), Linux (14.04 LTS).

Steps to reproduce:
1.Launch chrome and navigate to chrome://settings/appearance
2.Click on toggle button for 'Show home button' and Observe. 

Actual Result: Unwanted grey highlight is seen for home button url.
Expected Result: Unwanted grey highlight should not be seen

This is a Non-regression issue seen from ‘M-69’ series build #69.0.3442.0.

As this being a Non-Regression issue, changing the status to Untriaged so that the issue would get addressed.
