Steps to reproduce the problem:
Install an app from the Android such as Chrome Beta, Opera, etc. If using Chrome Beta, you need to enable Desktop Site, you should be able to pinch/zoom with the touch screen, now try it with the touchpad and it won't work.

If you try the same thing with the built in chrome browser, it works correctly.
