Updating Mojang Account password creates new password manager entry without username

Project Member Reported by nepper@chromium.org, May 24 2018

Issue description

Chrome Version: 66.0.3359.181
OS: Mac OS X

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Create a Mojang.com account, e.g. on minecraft.net
(2) Visit https://account.mojang.com/login and sign-in
(3) Confirm that about://settings/passwords shows your credentials for https://account.mojang.com/login
(4) Visit https://account.mojang.com/me/settings/password and change the password from there

What is the expected result?

A save prompt to update my existing account.

What happens instead?

No prompt, instead about://settings/passwords shows two entries:
https://account.mojang.com/me/settings // (empty) // new password
https://account.mojang.com/login // my username // old password
