Chrome Version: 66.0.3359.181
OS: Mac OS X
What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Out of band (e.g. in a different browser profile that is not associated with your main profile / account): Go to linkedin.com and change your password there.
(2) In your main browser profile: Visit linkedin.com
(3) Confirm that the sign-in form is filled with your old credentials (because you changed the password out of band)
(4) Try to sign in (confirm that Linkedin shows a "wrong password" response
(5) Sign in with the correct password
What is the expected result?
Chrome should detect that the username is the same username used before, and should if you want to update the password for the existing account.
What happens instead?
For some reason, I now have two entries in the password manager:
www.linkedin.com // my user name // my old password
de.linkedin.com // my user name // my new password
