Choose Trybots not showing up when signed in with @chromium.org only |
|||
Issue descriptionI have 2 browser profiles. In the first one I'm signed in using my @google.com (primary) and @chormium.org (secondary). In the second one I"m only signed in with my @chromium.org. In the last few weeks, for some reason in my 2nd profile I don't see the Choose Trybots links. I have to use my first profile to see this. Note that in both profiles, when I go to gerrit it's using my @chromium.org account.

i tried to reproduce: created a new browser profile, signed in with chromium.org, attempted to login to chromium-review@chromium.org with my @chromium.org account and it tells me 403. That’s an error. You've signed in with nodir@chromium.org to an account that is also associated with nodir@google.com. Please sign in using nodir@google.com. I assume your Gerrit accounts are not linked.

this reminds me bug 843330 , but comment 2 here indicates this is something different. I will fix bug 843330 and will see if this helps

Nodir, could it be that jam@chromium.org doesn't have access to list builders in a bucket?

appearance of the button doesn't depend on access to the builders in a bucket, but on whether buckets are configured. https://chromium.googlesource.com/infra/gerrit-plugins/buildbucket/+/master/src/main/resources/static/cr-buildbucket-view.js#290

Thanks to Nodir for coming by and tracking this down; somehow "Block third-party cookies" was set on my profile. Undoing that fixed it. |
