Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_3) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/66.0.3359.181 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: http://graphemica.com/%E2%8E%B2 What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? As far as I can tell, the character shouldn't be as large as it is in the first place. Regardless, it interacts weirdly with the URL bar (cuts off differently when highlighting vs not), right click menu (large and cut off options when highlighting and right clicking), and web pages don't render consistently with other browsers. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 66.0.3359.181 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.13.3 Flash Version:

This looks fine in Windows (modulo the page not providing enough space for this glyph). I'm going to start with the omnibox (URL bar) for this one where it is pretty egregious.

(checked Windows, Rob, I'll sync up with you for Mac to see how it's different) For clipping on the page, noting to bug-readers that this is the half-summation sign (vs U+2211 ∑). The top half glyph descends below the baseline and the bottom half glyph rises above the ascent. |
