Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 8.1.0; Pixel 2 XL Build/OPM2.171019.029.B1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/66.0.3359.158 Mobile Safari/537.36 Platform: All Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Mobile Data can be turned on and instant tethers correctly to pixel phone from Chromebook only when using a personal Gmail account 2. Log into the same Chromebook with a g suite account and this option is locked off by your administrator 3. The admin console currently has no policy option to control this feature, therefore I'm hard blocked from using it in a corporate environment What is the expected behavior? That a policy option on/off/user controlled, per OU is available What went wrong? Nothing - this is a feature request Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 66.0.3359.158 Channel: stable OS Version: 66 Flash Version: All

Max - this looks like a feature request to face the already existing "InstantTetheringAllowed" policy in the Admin Console.

Yes, that's exactly what we're looking for, so we can use this function with Pixel devices in a G Suite context, as the option is 'forced off' on a Chromebook currently, saying that this is enforced by admin console Is this something that will take a while? thx |
