After opening bookmark folder (15+), Chrome needs duplicated close commands (cmd+w) to close the tabs.

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_4) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/66.0.3359.181 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Create a bookmark folder with 15 or more bookmarks. Preferably with heavy web pages.
2. Right click and choose open in tabs.
3. Wait a second or two, and try to close one tab with a single cmd+w

What is the expected behavior?
The tab to close.

What went wrong?
The tab doesn't close.

If you close all tabs, and then tell Chrome to quit (cmd+q), it won't quit and several zombies processes appear in process list (ps ax)

Thanks for filing the issue! Tested in chrome #66.0.3359.181 and Canary #68.0.3436.0 on Mac 10.13.3 and not able to reproduce the issue.Please find the screen shots for your reference.

Steps Followed:
---------------
1.Install chrome and added more than 15 book marks folder.
2.Right click on it and open in tabs.
3.After 2 sec close the window with cmd+w
Observed that able to close the tab. 

@ uldericofilho: Could you please let me know if i have missed anything and if possible,Please create new profile without extensions and apps.Re-check once and let us know the observations and provide the crash id from chrome://crashes(If its crash)of the issue which would help us to triage the issue further.

I was able to replicate the problem over and over, but after the proposed contraints (pristine environment) it worked just fine.
