updating my chromebook reset the resolution

Issue description

Chrome Version: 67.0.3396.41 (Official Build) beta (64-bit)
OS: 10575.32.0 (Official Build) beta-channel chell

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) I was running a higher resolution
(2)
(3)

What is the expected result?

Resolution does not change.

What happens instead?

After upgrade, the resolution was changed.

and by resolution, I mean the thing you set using Ctrl+Shift+= or Ctrl+Shift+-
