That cl only fixes the test framework and is only used for tests. It shouldn't change anything on benchmarks. I took a look at the regressions. The reference build also has a similar regression. So, I am suspecting some infrastructure changes or metric changes. I triggered a bisect. May be it will help us find the issue.

Right, looks like you're correct. I'm a bit surprised creation of the bug report didn't automatically kick off a bisect. I think it's safe to close this as an infra change. Thanks!
