Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/66.0.3359.139 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Go to https://jsfiddle.net/vt946h4y/ 2. Activate ChromeVox 3. Press on the "Play button" on the upper left corner 4. Alert pops up and ChromeVox reads: "OK, button. An embedded page at ... says: Dialog. An embedded page at ... says: Window. An embedded page at ... says: Window" 5. ChromeVox does not read anything more, Keys like <Tab> or <ChromeVox + Arrow keys don't do anything" What is the expected behavior? at 4) I would expect ChromeVox to read something like: "Dialog popped up. Text: 'Hello ChromeVox, please read this!'. Ok, Button." at 5) i would expect that: <Tab> or <ChromeVox + Arrow Keys> re-read the text above. What went wrong? ChromeVox does not read text of javascript alert, see above. WebStore page: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/chromevox/kgejglhpjiefppelpmljglcjbhoiplfn Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 66.0.3359.139 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version:

Able to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 66.0.3359.139 and on latest chrome 68.0.3436.0 using Windows 10, Ubuntu 17.10. Note: Chromevox unable to read the popup text On Mac 10.13.3 Same behavior is seen on M60(60.0.3112.113) hence considering it as non-regression and marking it as Untriaged. Thanks!

Looks like you're using ChromeVox the extension. We're not fixing these types of bugs as we recommend using the platform screen reader. |
