my pdf reader doesn't work anymore. It had worked great, now I keep getting getting from softgateon.net and wants me to sign up with them.

Reported by appye...@gmail.com, May 17 2018

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 10323.62.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/65.0.3325.184 Safari/537.36
Platform: 10323.62.0 (Official Build) stable-channel sand

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. All I have to do is click on a pdf file and it takes me online to the softgateon.net page
2.
3.

What is the expected behavior?
What I want is to be able to read my pdf's again, but I can't because it takes me to that web page.

What went wrong?
I really don't know, but it works with all my pdf's.
This or any other file works the same way.

The second file is a screenshot of the page that comes up
when I click on a pdf.

Did this work before? Yes Any of my pdf's work the same way everytime I use them.

Chrome version: 65.0.3325.184 Channel: n/a
OS Version: 10323.62.0
Flash Version: 29.0.0.113 /opt/google/chrome/pepper/libpepflashplayer.so

I never had any problem with it before. I've tried some other readers, but I read (and thought) that it was a program that came with the computer because it just worked from the beginning. I don't want to "mess things up" with trying to fix it myself.

Sounds like you've installed another PDF reader.

Try loading it in an incognito window and see that it works correctly.

And then goto: chrome://extensions/ and remove the PDF viewer (aka https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/pdf-viewer/efgckoacaifddohhbjmmbagnbpfnlhkc)
