Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/66.0.3359.117 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Select text 2. Mouse right click 3. Select menu item "Search in Google" What is the expected behavior? The domain of the url adreess should be taken form my settings. For example "https://google.com" What went wrong? The domain of the url adreess trying to search from my region("https://google.ru") but not form default settings("https://google.com"). Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 66.0.3359.117 Channel: stable OS Version: Debian 9.4 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 29.0 r0 I don't want to search with Google for my region RU. I want to search in region what i selected in my settings like COM. There are any constraints in my country for domain Google.ru but the Google.com is working. I want to avoid this with configuring my settings but i can't.

Able to reproduce this issue on reported version 66.0.3359.117 and latest canary 68.0.3433.0 using Windows 10, Ubuntu 17.10 and Mac 10.13.3. i.e; For our location this changed to google.in. This issue is seen from M-60. Hence considering this issue as Non-Regression and marking as Untriaged. Thanks!

Please have a look at https://www.blog.google/products/search/making-search-results-more-local-and-relevant/, this is the current policy that defines how Search selects a country service for a request. The domain is ignored and instructions are provided if you want to switch to a different country service than that of your location. > There are any constraints in my country for domain Google.ru but the Google.com is working. Do you have an example of a feature that does not work on google.ru but works on google.com?

In our country ROSKOMNADZOR declared the war for Telegram.org. Every day millions of IP has blocked for Amazon, Google, e.t.c. Read the news! In this case Google.ru don't working time to time. Thanks for tor & vpn. I don't think you will be glad if your requests has been aborted with message "ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED" 10 times in a hour.

It sounds like this working as intended. If you want to change your location for Google search, do a search, then in the bar at the top-middle of the page showing "All", "Images", "News", etc., find "Settings". Select "Search Settings", and scroll down and change your country.
