Issue descriptionChrome Version : 68.0.3432.3 (Official Build) 5aacd4d4350de37f394edd3095576d2bc7daf56c-refs/branch-heads/3432@{#6} 32/64-bit OS : Mac(10.12.6, 10.13.1, 10.13.5), Windows(7, 8, 8.1, 10), Linux(14.04 LTS) What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Launch chrome, take a fresh profile and open devtools on NTP. 2. Navigate to 'Performance' tab in devtools and click on 'Record' button. 3. Stop the recording within 5 seconds and observe the 'Summary' tab at the bottom. Actual Result : 'Summary' tab appears black after stopping the recording within 5 seconds. Expected Result : 'Summary' tab should show recorded details even when recording stopped in short duration. We do not show main track on the flamechart and the details when there's no essential events. We should probably fix it but it's definitely not a stable blocker.

Update : Retested above issue in latest Canary build #68.0.3436.0 on Windows(7,8,8.1,10), Mac(10.12.6, 10.13.1, 10.13.5) and Linux(14.04 LTS) OS and the issue is fixed. Now, summary details are shown as expected even after stopping the recording within 5 seconds. Kindly review an attached screen-cast. Thank you..! |
