No option available to disable mouse acceleration

Expected Result:
An option in the settings menu to disable mouse acceleration
Actual Result:
No option to disable mouse acceleration

What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is
it?
Makes using a USB mouse extremely uncomfortable. This has been a widely requested feature yet it is put on the backburner.
