Use case:

Motivation:
The password export file is stored in cleartext, making it possible for someone with access to an unattended machine to steal passwords. Additionally, legitimate use of the feature could result in loss of the export file exposing passwords. Other platforms implement a reauth feature putting Chrome behind the curve in this depatment. 

Existing workarounds:
Shutting off password manager altogether.
