Repro steps:
1. Fresh install of Chrome 68, navigate to Settings -> Linux Apps
2. Click "Turn On" and wait for install to finish
3. Observe Terminal window open and immediately close
4. Open Launcher, click Terminal, observe it open and immediately close

Expected: Terminal opens with SSH session to penguin container
Actual: Terminal closes immediately

```

The above commands get me root in the penguin VM.
