Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 10575.32.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3396.41 Safari/537.36 Platform: 10575.32.0 (Official Build) beta-channel samus Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Visit a hipchat room. 2. Create a shortcut to pin it to your shelf, and set it to open in a window. 3. Open the pinned "app" from your shelf and make it full-screen. What is the expected behavior? Pressing alt-tab should allow user to switch to another window. What went wrong? Alt-tab only works once, and subsequent attempts do not show the window switcher. Did this work before? Yes 66 Chrome version: 67.0.3396.41 Channel: beta OS Version: 10575.32.0 Flash Version: This doesn't seem to happen with all windows... But it's 100% reproducible with Hipchat. Reloading the "app" window makes alt-tab work as expected, but only once. Web pages should not be able to break Chrome OS UI functionality.

This is now happening on a Debian desktop (xfce) too. Ctrl seems to be swallowed, as long as an input is focused. If I make a point to click on a non-input field of a page, then control is properly mapped, with "t" chorded, to open a new tab (ctrl-t). If an input field is focused, the ctrl input seems to be ignored.

Thanks for reporting this issue, if it happens on Platform other than Chrome OS, this might not be a Chrome OS specific issue, we need to re-triage to the right owner. I tried on Chrome OS: 1. Open https://www.hipchat.com/sign_in in browser. 2. Create a shortcut of the page and pin it on shelf. 3. Open the shortcut in a window. 4. I can use Alt+Tab to switch between the browser and the window. It seems the issue does not happen. Did I reproduce in the right steps? |
