Download motion photos from web (such as Google Photos) 2. File downloads as an unreadable file 3. File needs to be converted via third party site/extension What is the expected behavior? File does not preview or open. What went wrong? File does not preview or open. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 66.0.3359.158 Channel: stable OS Version: 10452.85.0 Flash Version: 29.0.0.171 /opt/google/chrome/pepper/libpepflashplayer.so While .HEIC only applies to motion photos, it would be great if Chrome can support it.

Agree, low priority until the usual provenance checks are done, and the format has duked it out with other image formats vying for inclusion on the web.
