side swipe going back or forward causes a flash of stale content.

Issue description

Chrome M68, both Dev and Canary.

Go to news.ycombinator.com.
Click on a story link.
Swipe from left edge to go back.

Expected:
See clean transition to news.ycombinator.com.

Observed:
Grey background, the story content, then news.ycombinator.com.

+eugenebut@ we dismiss the side swipe curtain with -webStateDidStopLoading, but it seems that the previous page is still visible in this case.  Any ideas?

Any chance this is related to slim-nav?

srikanthg@ are you seeing this in other sites as well?  I wonder if this should be RBS?
Yes this is happening with other sites as well. After the swipe animation finishes the webpage flashes for a second and then NTP is displayed.
Only happening with #slim-navigation-manager enabled.

RBS for 68? -> Yes. animation looks bad.
